Eden Green Farm

About Our Farm

It was always about growing. Growing crops. Growing family. Growing community.

When Luther Brown first set foot on his farm, he dreamed of more than food—he dreamed of connection. Through seasons of labor and loss, he held fast to one promise: that the land would remain in the family, cared for and passed on.

Today, Eden Green Farm stands as a living legacy—one of the few African-American-owned farms that endures in Prince George County. Here, we cultivate not just vegetables, but friendships, resilience, and a future rooted in the soil Luther so dearly loved.

"Rooted in the soil. Grown for the community."

OUR Mission

Our mission is to grow more than food—

We grow connection.

We care for the land with sustainable practices, and we care for our neighbors by opening the farm as a place to gather, learn, and celebrate.

Every seed planted is an invitation to be a part of something bigger—healthy soil, healthy food, and a healthy community.
